How a prepaid voucher works
You buy a voucher with a fixed value and receive a 16-digit code. At checkout you pick the voucher as payment method and enter that code. The amount is deducted from the voucher; there is no link to your bank account and no personal payment details are shared with the shop.
Where it is and is not accepted
Prepaid vouchers are widely accepted for games, gaming platforms, streaming and digital services. Physical goods shops rarely take them. Check the service's payment page before buying and mind the country: some vouchers are locked per market.
What it costs and what you save
A prepaid voucher shows its face value separately from our low service fee, always disclosed upfront. Do read the issuer's own terms afterwards: some vouchers charge a maintenance fee on a remaining balance after a longer period. So it pays to spend the credit in one or two goes.
