How the 16-digit PIN works
Every paysafecard has a unique 16-digit code backed by a fixed credit, for example 10, 25, 50 or 100 euros. At checkout you select paysafecard as the payment method and enter the code, and the amount is deducted from that credit after confirmed payment.
No registration or bank details are needed to use a single code, which is why paysafecard is popular with people who want to pay anonymously or don't have a credit card.
Where paysafecard is accepted
Paysafecard is accepted at thousands of online shops, gaming platforms and streaming services, mostly across Europe. Common uses include topping up gaming accounts, paying for online subscriptions, or funding a digital wallet that supports paysafecard.
Combining multiple codes
If a purchase costs more than a single code's balance, a free my paysafecard account lets you combine multiple codes into one balance. Without an account, some shops also let you enter multiple codes one after another until the total is covered.
Safety and storage
Treat a paysafecard code like cash: whoever knows the code can spend it. Keep your proof of purchase and never share the code with strangers or over unsecured channels, since a lost code usually can't be recovered.
